WHY PAIN EXISTS (AND WHY IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK)
Insight from a recent injury to the right glut: the pain is caused by tension somewhere else entirely, along with overall body issues
The importance of paying attention to the rest of the body ~ not just the area where the pain is felt
This applies in the emotional realm as well: local hurts may relate to something else entirely
In the mental realm: stuckness may be due to imbalances in other aspects of the self or of life
When we're in pain (physical/emotional/mental) ~ take stock of life in general, and seek to come back into balance; then come back to the area where pain is felt
